The structural engineer of a particular project states that fly ash bricks as per GRIHA’s specification are not available in market. So how can be Criterion 15 (GRIHA Version 03) complied with?
Points in this criterion can also be achieved by the use of any type of brick or block made out of any waste material. Such as building blocks made using blast furnace slag or construction & demolition waste (C&D).
If the project team is unable to find a product, GRIHA Product Catalogue can be referred. It is an online product catalogue which has been developed to provide green building designers and clients with all necessary information on green building products which can be used to make buildings GRIHA compliant. However, this is not an exclusive catalogue of all green building products available in the market.
